Look what happened when we built links to this new site in February 2021:
To achieve those results, we deployed a very simple 2 step link building strategy: - Link Building Stage 1 - Build 3-5 links to the homepage every month to build long tail search traffic.
- Link Building Stage 2 - Increase links to 6-10 per month evenly split between homepage & inner pages that are staring to rank.
As you can see - it's a pretty straightforward strategy that allows you to act on existing opportunities while constantly creating new long tail opportunities to act on later.
Each month we just review which pages are starting to creep into the first few pages of the search results and direct the links accordingly.
